‘Moulin Rouge!’ star Karen Olivo won’t return, slams Broadway’s Scott Rudin silence

The recent claims against Scott Rudin in regards to abuse in the work place have gone primarily unacknowledged by broadway producers. Karen Olivo steps down from her role in Moulin Rouge in protest to the silence. She also called others to consider what they are spending their money on when buying a ticket and whether the entertainment is worth it when that money is keeping a man like Scott Rudin supported.

Anne Hathaway and James Franco hosting the 2011 Oscars may have been doomed from the start

Observations were made that both James and Anne were not compatible in their personalities or lifestyles which led to issues in rehearsals for the Oscars. Whereas Anne was there and always ready to give her all James seemed less enthusiastic. Duets were thrown out and in reflection Anne recognized that sometimes being nice doesn't make anything work any better than it was before.

Farnsworth receives 27 works by three generations of Wyeths

A significant gift was given to the Farnsworth Art Museum by Betsy Wyeth which will bring the museums collection of Wyeth paintings to over 100. The show will start May 15 and go all the way through March 2022. In this show the Farnsworth Art Museum hopes to raise attendance significantly.
